FSC Logo<\/h1>\n

Het FSC logo heb je vast al eens voorbij zien komen. Het staat op veel houten producten; (tuin)meubels, schuttingen, tafels etc.
\nMaar wat zegt dit logo eigenlijk? Forest Stewardship Council<\/h2>\n

Als je een product aanschaft wat voorzien is van een FSC logo dan betekent dit dat het materiaal wat er gebruikt is om dit product te maken, afkomstig is uit verantwoord beheerde bossen. Dit is belangrijk omdat hierdoor wereldwijd de bossen in stand worden gehouden. Dit heet Forest Management (FM).<\/p>\n

Om producten uit een FSC bos gescheiden te houden van niet-gecertificeerde producten moeten alle schakels in de handelsketen gecertificeerd zijn. Dus elk bedrijf wat iets doet om het product te maken met het hout wat uit een FSC bos komt, moet gecertificeerd zijn.<\/p>\n

Een FSC gecertificeerd bedrijf kan en mag overigens ook producten verkopen die niet-FSC gecertificeerd zijn. Op je factuur kan je zien of het product wat je hebt aangeschaft ook FSC gecertificeerd is. FSC papier en gebruik FSC logo<\/h2>\n

Alle drukkerijen waar New Energy Printing mee samenwerkt zijn FSC gecertificeerd. Ook maken wij standaard gebruik van FSC papier<\/a>. Dit betekent echter nog niet dat je het FSC logo in je boek mag gebruiken.<\/p>\n

Alle stappen in het proces moeten worden geregistreerd, dus de gehele keten. Dit vergt extra (administratieve) handelingen van alle betrokken bedrijven. Vandaar dat het plaatsen van het FSC logo in je boek een kleine meerprijs heeft. De kosten bedragen ongeveer 1 tot 3% van de totale productiekosten van jouw boek.
